Not a true martini (as it contains neither gin nor vermouth)... this relatively young cocktail was created by Douglas Akrah in Knightsbridge, 1999 and is widely recognised as the UK's most popular cocktail.

"a stylish and confident drink...[that's]….pure indulgence, sexy, fun and evocative" - Akrah

A cocktail shaker (or you could use a container with a sealed lid instead)

A sieve and a cocktail strainer

A handful of ice cubes

A coupe glass, or glass of your choice!

A shot glass

Pour half of your pre-made cocktail mixture into your cocktail shaker, along with the ice.

Shake for 10 seconds, or until the shaker feels cold to the touch.

Using the sieve and strainer, double strain your cocktail into your glass.

Don't worry if you don't have any strainers - just try not to let any ice get into your drink!

Garnish your cocktail with half a fresh passionfruit and a shot of Prosecco alongside your drink.
